Real Experiences
"This experience found me at a time I didn’t even realize how much I needed it."
I truly believe some things come as divine intervention — and this was one of them. Luke’s approach is unlike anything I’ve encountered. His system is uniquely his own, blending deep intuition with a style that gently guides you into areas you may have avoided, all within a space that feels completely safe. I drive an hour each week because, from the very first session, my gut knew this was something powerful. Weeks later, I’m still feeling the shifts. If you’re ready to release and evolve into a better version of yourself, I can’t recommend this enough.

When pain stops you trusting your body, everything else suffers.
Health Encompassed helps frustrated high-performers and chronic pain sufferers understand their body and regain independence — without guessing, generic rehab, or endless appointments.

Through my own personal journey with chronic, unexplained, and unresolved pains and working with many other chronic pain sufferers here’s what I have found actually works
-
Pain is not just what can be seen on an image, there are many factors that influence pain:
-
Sensitivity of the region
-
Overall inflammation in the body
-
General recovery - e.g. sleep, diet, exercise, supplements
-
Lifestyle and stress factors
-
Psychological beliefs and behaviours
Chances are these factors haven’t been addressed in the appropriate detail
Addressing all these factors is crucial, it’s in part where our name Health Encompassed comes from
-
-
The formula I have observed in chronic pain sufferers is
-
Guarded movement + Psychological protection = Chronic Pain
-
So the solution?
-
Gradually introduce movement in a way that feels psychologically safe, while addressing all the other health factors that are contributing to the sensitivity of the region

Hi, I’m Luke Jarrouge, the founder of Health Encompassed.
I’ve lived with some form of ongoing pain since my late teens, while still pushing athletic goals from high school through to today.
I know firsthand how exhausting and expensive it is to keep searching for answers — seeing practitioner after practitioner, getting short-term relief, then feeling everything return the moment care stops.
Over time, the fear grows.
Fear that this is just how your body is now.
Fear that it will limit what you can do — or slowly get worse.
What frustrated me most wasn’t just the pain, but the lack of clear explanation. I was given treatments, but never a plan that helped me understand why this kept happening or what I could do to change it long term.
Everything shifted when I stopped chasing fixes and started deeply understanding pain, movement, and how the body adapts under stress. By addressing the factors that were actually driving sensitivity — how I moved, how I recovered, what my body had learned to protect itself from — I rebuilt confidence in my body instead of depending on ongoing treatment.
Today, I train and compete without pain limiting my decisions. Manual therapy still has a place, but it’s a tool — not the solution. The real change came from independence, understanding, and progressive exposure to movement that felt safe again.
That experience is why Health Encompassed exists.

the journey
Not your typical chiropractor
When I qualified as a chiropractor, I worked at the clinic which had treated me. The clinic focused on sports chiropractic, and had a wide-ranging treatment approach. I learned rehabilitation, movement-based retraining and soft tissue therapy as well as standard chiropractic techniques. I use all these methodologies and more to help you back to health.
The Turning Point
How I became a chronic pain specialist
When I was a teenager, someone very close to me had chronic lower back pain. It went on for over a year. Their life went off the rails - they gained weight, they were depressed.
Now, I look back with more experience and realise that pain could have been fixed in about a month. Instead, the suffering went on for a whole year. And that person was one of the lucky ones. Some people endure chronic pain – as well as side effects like depression, changes in appetite, poor sleep and suicidal tendencies.
Sometimes, standard treatment can feel like a band-aid.
It helps you cope with the issue, but it doesn’t fix it. Do you want to move beyond ‘just coping’ to the joyful feel of real health in your body? I’m here to help.
